About
Diani Hall
Personal Trainer ~ British Weightlifting Coach ~ MSc Psychology
Coaching built on
science, sport, and
real experience.
I’m Diani, a personal trainer, British Weightlifting Level 2 coach, and active national competitor based at PureGym East Sheen in London. I currently compete in Olympic Weightlifting, where I’m ranked among the top 12 lifters in England, with my sights firmly set on breaking into the top 5 in Great Britain.
My path into coaching wasn’t a straight line. I came from a background in Philosophy, which taught me how to question assumptions and think rigorously - something I bring into every programme I write. I’m now studying for a Master’s in Psychology, which has deepened how I think about behaviour change, “motivation”, and what it really takes for progress to stick.
I coach because I know first-hand what structured, intelligent training can do - not just for how you look, but for how you think, how you move, and how you show up in the rest of your life.
COMPETITIONS AND COACHING
I don’t just coach the sport.
I live it.
TOP 12
Ranked in England
Currently competing nationally in Olympic Weightlifting, with a goal of breaking into the top 10. I compete and coach at events across the UK - understanding what performance under pressure actually demands.
LEVEL 2
British Weightlifting Coach
One of the very few coaches in South West London holding a British Weightlifting Level 2 qualification. Technical lifting coaching that’s rare to find outside of specialist clubs… now available to you.
+5
Sports coached across
My clients compete and train in rugby, rowing, marathon running, and Olympic lifting - alongside people focused purely on health, longevity, and feeling strong.
MSc
Psychology in progress
Studying for a Master’s in Psychology shapes how I coach beyond the physical - building the mental resilience, confidence, and sustainable habits that make results last.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY
The way I think about training.
Biopsychosocial
Your physical progress is inseparable from your mindset, stress levels, sleep, relationships, and life context. I coach the whole person — not just the body in front of me.
Evidence-based
Every decision I make is grounded in research, not trends. From programme design to recovery, I apply what recent research articles advise and explain why (the more questions, the better!).
Individual-first
Every programme is built around your goals, movement patterns, injury history, schedule, and lifestyle - nobody else’s.
Long-term thinking
Quick fixes don’t interest me. I’m here to help you build something that lasts: habits, strength, confidence, and a relationship with training that you will enjoy and that works for life!
